EN reporter Olivia Powell catches up with Euro Presentations to explore how high-end presentations can elevate your brand.
The events industry depends on presentations and the ability to communicate information. However, producing presentations to the highest possible standard is often neglected.
Enter Euro Presentations, a company that utilises the technology available within the events sector to create stunning presentations.
General manager Andy Williams believes condensing complex issues into simple ideas is entirely possible, as well as taking a simple idea and presenting it in an impressive and striking way. The company works around these two maxims, as well as striving to provide accurate, imaginative and cost-effective solutions to make their clients’ ideas a reality.
To do this, the company invests in the latest technology, including LED screens and software-based control packages that can help provide solutions to problems that previously needed lots of hardware to solve.
Despite this investment in tech, William’s biggest piece of advice is to not let the visuals and technology outshine your message – they should complement each other, not compete.
Williams also notes that what they provide goes beyond tech: “Your average conference presenter will know what they want and what it takes to achieve it. That means you need an even higher caliber of technician at the controls. They must know their craft, but they also need to be strong communicators and client facing.”
The company first emerged on the market in 2008 after managing the audio-visual function at the Novohotel London West and has now grown to become AV partner to 30 hotels and venues, as well as flourishing in the large-scale award show sector. Commenting on the brand’s success, Willams said: “What we have become at Euro Presentations is a company with a presence in all sectors of the Corporate Live Events Market.”
Euro Presentations demonstrates this through their involvement in the industry – they run 35 awards shows per year, including the Exhibition News Awards for Mash Media, as well as making a mark in the exhibition industry through working for clients like M. Squared Media, CloserStill, Diversified Communications and Professional Beauty, and getting involved with the conference sector – this financial year they have managed 45 conferences for their partner, Reed Business Information.
Williams commented on their steadfast client base: “The reason that we have so many long-standing client partnerships is because we have made them feel loved. We have been able to win business, because we understand that you must provide a relationship, that underpins the service you provide…Understanding your market, and more importantly, understanding your client’s needs, are critical to running successful events.”
