Equinox Group has been appointed a recommended stand contractor across ICE’s global event portfolio.
The appointment follows a competitive review by WorldGaming, which assessed contractors on design capability, delivery reliability and health and safety compliance.
The status applies across ICE shows rather than a single event. Recommended contractor schemes give exhibitors access to suppliers whose standards have been reviewed by organisers.
They also reduce the need for exhibitors to carry out separate checks when selecting stand contractors.
Rebecca Davis, senior operations manager at ICE & iGB Events, commented: “What stood out most was that, alongside highly creative and innovative stand designs, Equinox consistently maintains high health and safety standards.”
The appointment builds on an existing relationship between ICE and Equinox.
Marcus Embra, global marketing director at Equinox Group, said: “This isn’t the kind of recognition that happens by luck,” Embra said. “It’s a show that pushes every contractor to their limit, so having ICE put its name behind us, on the record, means a great deal to the team. We push hard on creativity and never once cut corners on safety.”
Equinox Group will continue working with WorldGaming ahead of future ICE events. ICE is a business-to-business exhibition and conference for the international gaming and iGaming industry, organised by WorldGaming, formerly Clarion Gaming.
