Event technology provider ExpoPlatform has appointed Jordan Yeates as director of engagement and commercialisation.
Yeates joins from IMEX Group, where he spent almost five years as head of product technology. During that time, he led IMEX’s implementation of ExpoPlatform, giving him experience of the platform from an organiser’s perspective.
In his new role, Yeates will work with prospective and existing clients to help them develop their digital event strategies, with a focus on attendee engagement and commercial opportunities.
He said: “Moving from the organiser side gives me a unique, firsthand perspective on the challenges our clients face. I can’t wait to collaborate with them to drive deeper attendee engagement and uncover powerful new commercial opportunities.”
At IMEX, Yeates led digital transformation projects, strategic partnerships and product development. ExpoPlatform said he also helped develop new sponsorship and revenue opportunities.
Tanya Pinchuk, ceo of ExpoPlatform, said: “His extensive background in managing technology for world-class events will add immense value to our community. Jordan knows exactly what organisers need.”
ExpoPlatform provides event technology including AI-powered matchmaking, meeting scheduling, mobile apps and AI assistants. Its clients include Hyve, Informa, Comexposium, Dubai World Trade Centre, IMEX and Northstar Travel Group.
