The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Council has elected Darren Johnson (pictured), chief executive officer of Reed Exhibitions UK, as its next chair. The election, which took place at the AEO Council meeting, 5 September, also sees Simon Parker, executive vice president of Informa, become vice chair.
