UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry, has re-elected its chair and vice-chair for its Associations Committee. They will begin their three-year mandate at the 93rd UFI Global Congress in November 2026.
Jörn Holtmeier (pictured) – managing director of AUMA (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry), Germany, and Synthia Chan – council chairperson, Macau Fair & Trade Association, will continue in their respective positions for another term.
Holtmeier will also serve on the UFI Executive Committee and Board of Directors and Chan will also serve on the UFI Board of Directors.
The UFI Associations Committee works to identify, collaborate and advocate on key issues for the associations representing the exhibition industry at local, regional and global levels.
The committee addresses critical industry topics, highlights the sector’s impact through data and research, and amplifies the collective voice of the exhibition industry on the international stage. It comprises over 75 national, regional and international exhibition industry associations worldwide.

Elections for UFI’s governing bodies continue in 2026, with the online voting period for the UFI Regional Chapter now open.
Running from 6 April to 6 May 2026, this year’s elections have attracted a strong field of candidates standing for the positions of chair and vice-chair across all five chapters.
Representatives of UFI Full Members and head offices of Group Members are eligible to vote, and were sent their voting instructions by email on 6 April 2026.
