A Place in the Sun Live has acquired the Property Investor Show, in a move that will bring the UK’s two largest property events together under one roof.

APITS Ltd runs at Excel London, the NEC, Manchester Central and the RDS Dublin. Now, the Excel and NEC shows will include the Property Investor Show (which will retain its own branding, floorplan and seminar theatre). The combined format will debut at Excel London on 16–18 April 2027 and at the NEC Birmingham on 24–26 September 2027.

The Manchester (February 2027) and Dublin (October 2027) editions will not include the Property Investor Show.

APITS Ltd purchased the show from Property Investor Media Ltd.

Andy Bridge, CEO of APITS Ltd, said: “Our respective events have been running for over 20 years so we’ve had a couple of decades for our respect and admiration to grow of what Nick, Mike and Kelly have achieved.

“Staging events does not get any easier and we are not the first to recognise the clear economies in running two events in one space. We have competed with Property Investor across the years and share some exhibitors, but the combined client base and audience create a strong opportunity to coalesce and develop.”

Nick Clark, managing director of Property Investor Media, said: “In the post-Covid environment, our exhibitors have been asking for added value to boost their exhibition ROI, primarily in the form of larger visitor attendance numbers, but also the opportunity to engage with an audience beyond London and the Southeast.

“I am confident that combining the complementary content of the UK’s two largest property events will satisfy these requirements.”
