Linda Moir, former head of Virgin Atlantic customer service and head of event services at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, has been unveiled as a keynote speaker for the EN Ops Leaders Summit.
Moir will deliver a keynote session, The Human Side of Operational Excellence: Lessons from Virgin Atlantic and London 2012, on 14 September 2026, exploring how organisations can build high-performing teams and deliver exceptional experiences at scale.
Drawing on her experience leading the Event Services team at London 2012, where 15,000 volunteer Games Makers welcomed 9 million spectators, alongside her role as Director of In-Flight Services at Virgin Atlantic, Moir will share insights into creating cultures of accountability, aligning teams around a common purpose and maintaining service excellence under pressure.
The 35-minute session will examine how investing in people can strengthen operational resilience, improve performance and create memorable experiences for customers, attendees and stakeholders.
Moir has held senior roles across organisations recognised for customer service, including Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and NATS. At London 2012, she led the frontline Event Services operation responsible for spectator experience throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
