Most event hire pricing sits behind quote forms rather than public rate cards. Expo Hire has published what it says are live day-hire rates taken directly from its stock system in August 2026.

The rates, published in August 2026, cover the items event planners request most frequently. A folding chair hires at £1.65 per day, rising to £4.25 for a Chiavari banqueting chair. Tables range from £5.50 for a 4ft rectangular trestle to £14.00 for a poseur or cocktail table.

To put those figures in context, Expo Hire has worked through a typical 100-guest reception: 100 chairs, 12 round tables, 100 place settings and full table linen. At the rates above, the total for one day’s hire comes to around £850. Buying equivalent equipment new would cost upwards of £8,000 – before factoring in storage.
