The City of Nuremberg withdrew its permission, 19 October, for the holding of the annual consumer goods Consumenta 2020 tradefair, citing the rising number of infections in the city and throughout Bavaria for the short notice of the decision. Many of the 650 exhibitors for the nine-day exhibition had already started build up for the show.
