HIT Entertainment, creator of childhood brand Thomas and Friends, is set to sponsor the visitor entrance of the 57th Toy Fair 2010. The foyer area at Olympia’s Grand Hall will be branded with imagery of the trains Thomas, Percy and the Fat Controller in celebration of the toy’s 65th birthday.
“Sponsorship at the Toy Fair is an opportunity for companies connected to the toy industry who would not naturally exhibit at the event to reach the thousands of key players in the UK toy, game and hobby market who attend,” says Toy Fair event manager, Simon Pilling.
HIT Entertainment owns the rights to Thomas and Friends, Barney, Bob the Builder, Pingu, Fireman Sam, Angelina Ballerina and Rainbow Magic.
In addition to a Thomas and Friends-branded entrance area, Cartoon Network and Bandai are sponsoring the visitor bags for 2010.
The Toy Fair is due to take place from 26 to 28 January 2010 in the Grand Hall, Olympia, London.
