The PA Show has been rescheduled to run from 22-23 June 2021, organiser Mash Media has confirmed. The show will remain at its new home, ExCeL London.
Registration remains open for personal assistants, executive assistants and office managers.
The event’s director, Sam Cande, said that the Covid-19 pandemic had not deterred the show’s target audience from signing up. “The number of visitor and delegate registrations are up by 65% year-on-year, showing us that the community is looking forward to meeting in person, and we at the PA Show are excited to continue support of their learning and career development,” said Cande.
Cande added that she and her team had been working to develop suitable means of digital communication to keep the show’s audience engaged more consistently. She said: “We have worked hard this year to create some community extension channels which utilise digital platforms to keep our audience informed, connected and engaged but it’s important to us that the heart of the brand will run as a live show as soon as it can.”
While the Government has not yet confirmed the timeline of the reopening of the economy, it has signed off the All-Secure Standard, a set of extensive Covid-secure event guidelines of which organsiers and venues are mandated to follow. The guidance was drafted by the Association of Event Organsiers alongside other partner associations.
Cande paid tribute to the show’s advisory board and partners, and noted the collective determination to support the event’s live return was humbling. “The support and flexibility of all our exhibitors, sponsors, Advisory Board and partners is forever valued and we will remain transparent and nimble as we navigate back to ‘live’ with you,” she added.
