Convention Edinburgh, the organisation responsible for promoting the Scottish capital as a conference and events destination, has announced five new bid wins for the city. The new bids will equate to around 3,400 delegates and serve over £7m to the local economy.   Among the confirmed wins is the European Group for Organisational Studies Colloquium (EGOS), taking place in July 2019 with 1,200 delegates, bringing a total of £4m to the city.
