The organiser of pool and spa show SPATEX has claimed the event has sold out two months ahead of opening at its new location at the Ricoh Arena.
The exhibition will be held on 2-4 February 2014, relocating to Coventry from the Hilton Metropole Exhibition Centre in Brighton.
“We planned on this being our best ever show and with two months to go, we are certainly on course for that to happen,” said show organiser Michele Bridle.
“The move to a more central location at the Ricoh Arena has certainly paid dividends with all the exhibition space having been sold. The sell-out reinforces the fact that SPATEX is the wet leisure industry’s original and most representative show.
“We have attracted previous exhibitors as well as newcomers in over 150 categories and everything is in place for SPATEX 2014 to be the industry’s best show yet.
“We believe it has a broad appeal for those involved in swimming pools, spas, saunas or hydrotherapy both in domestic and commercial sectors and there is also a wide programme of demonstrations and 25 workshops led by industry experts.”
Exhibitors in the pool and spa industry will be showcasing products in over 150 categories in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall.
“This is the 18th year of SPATEX and to be able to sell out so far in advance is testament to the fact that organisers are providing the industry with just the kind of show they demand,” said Ricoh Arena senior events manager Chris Owen.
“All the industry’s leading companies and personnel are coming along and it promises to be three days of non-stop activity throughout the Ricoh Arena.”
