Simon Mills, previously group director of the brand, design and protection portfolio at UBM, will join ExCeL London in the role of executive director, with commercial responsibility for exhibitions, media and food & beverage.
Mills has spent the past 17 years at UBM, and in his most recent role was overseeing a portfolio of 17 products.
During that time, he has moved and run several market leading events to ExCeL, including the Protection & Management Series (IFSEC, Facilities Show, SHE and Firex) and Black Hat.

His extensive industry experience and insight will help us to attract more world leading events to London and ExCeL. Mills will join the ExCeL team from on 2 July 2018.
