Nineteen Group has acquired FIT Show from Montgomery Group, adding the UK’s leading dedicated trade event for the windows, doors and glazing industry to its established portfolio of events serving the built environment.
FIT Show brings together manufacturers, suppliers, installers, architects, specifiers, builders and developers, showcasing the latest products, materials, machinery and technology across the windows, doors and glazing sector.
The event attracts around 10,000 visitors and more than 200 brands, with the next edition taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 18–20 May 2027.
The acquisition strengthens one of the most extensive built environment event portfolios in the industry. Nineteen Group’s UK events include InstallerSHOW, Painting & Decorating Show, Professional Woodworking Expo and PlantWorx, alongside London
Build.
Internationally, the Group’s construction portfolio includes New York Build, Chicago Build, Sydney Build, Melbourne Build and the recently launched Miami Build, giving Nineteen a growing presence across major construction markets in the UK, United
States and Australia.
The acquisition also builds on Nineteen Group’s relationship with Montgomery Group, following the acquisition of Professional Woodworking Expo earlier this year. FIT Show will retain members of its existing team as it moves into Nineteen Group, providing continuity for exhibitors, partners and visitors.
Their knowledge of the sector, the event and the community that has grown around FIT Show will remain an important part of its next chapter, alongside the wider resources and expertise of Nineteen Group.
Michael Costain, managing director, Nineteen Group, said “FIT Show has earned a loyal following across the windows, doors and glazing industry, and we’re proud to welcome it into Nineteen Group. It complements our existing events naturally, connecting the
people who make, supply and install windows and doors with the wider construction and interiors community we already serve. Our focus is on working with the team, exhibitors and partners to make sure FIT Show keeps delivering for the fabricators,
installers, manufacturers and specifiers who rely on it.”
The acquisition is the latest step in Nineteen Group’s expansion across specialist B2B events, combining the development of its established portfolio with targeted acquisitions in sectors where it sees thriving communities and opportunities for growth.
By bringing FIT Show into its portfolio, Nineteen Group now spans every stage of the building supply chain, from manufacturing and fabrication through to installation and finishing.
Damion Angus, managing director, Montgomery Group, said: “We are proud of what the team has built with FIT Show and are pleased to see it move to Nineteen Group. Nineteen is a great home for the event and understands the opportunity ahead. Following the acquisition of Professional Woodworking Expo earlier this year, we are delighted to continue our relationship with Nineteen and look forward to seeing FIT Show continue to grow.”
Nickie West, Event Director, FIT Show, added: “FIT Show has a fantastic community behind it, from the manufacturers and suppliers exhibiting at the event to the installers, specifiers and other industry professionals who attend. I’m excited about what this next chapter brings and look forward to working with the Nineteen team, our exhibitors and partners to build on what FIT Show already does so well.”
