National Snow Show launches apres ski feature area

by Emily Wallin

The National Snow Show will be bringing an apres ski feature area including live DJ sets, entertainment and mountain inspired food and drinks to the NEC.

The Apres Pavilion will be running throughout the event on 15-16 October  with the volume turned up from 4pm on each day of the show.

The 2021 launch of the National Snow Show saw almost 10,000 snowsports lovers attend. The second edition will host  some of the biggest names in snowsports including Aimee Fuller, Graham Bell, Chemmy Alcott and Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards, as well as more than 150 gear, kit and tech brands.

Stephen Morgan, MD at Raccoon Active Events, said: “The après side of snowsports is as appealing and important as the time spent participating in the sport we love. It brings us together, helps us celebrate a sport and lifestyle we love and builds community and participation. The Après Pavilion will be a place to kick back,  enjoy some good music, meet with friends and transport yourself back to the mountains with a drink in hand and some good old mountain grub. Whether you are visiting the show with friends, as a family or as a solo traveller, pop into the Après Pavilion and soak up the vibes.”

The Après Pavilion  will include a gallery from the World Sports Photography Awards, a repair station, exclusive competitions and impromptu entertainment.
