IntraLogisteX, a national exhibition dedicated to the warehouse and distribution industry’s logistical operations, has announced that it will be taking place at Ricoh Arena in Coventry from 1-2 July.
More than 1,400 intralogistics professionals and 150 exhibitors are set to attend the event, which aims to help senior logistics professionals, warehouse managers, distribution heads, IT directors, and lead project managers to learn about forthcoming trends and developments, while demonstrating new products.
Stephen Brooks, MD of Akabo Media and organiser of IntralogisteX, said: “After several months of lockdown and digital fatigue, we are experiencing unprecedented, pent-up demand for our event.
“The distribution and warehouse sectors are seeing rising demand driven by the boom in online shopping during the Covid-19 pandemic, which in turn places greater pressure on their services, so we are anticipating strong interest this year on ways in which businesses can improve their efficiency alongside other core focuses such as maximising space, cutting costs and reducing waste.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming back visitors and exhibitors alike later this year in a Covid-secure environment at Ricoh Arena.”
Paul Michael, commercial director at Ricoh Arena, added: “We are starting to see the green shoots of the event industry’s recovery, which is underlined by the return of IntralogisteX. This will be the fifth consecutive show that InstralogisteX is holding at the venue, and we are looking forward to helping them deliver their biggest event yet.”
