Paula Lorimer, director at Harrogate Convention Centre is in the process of seeing her venue transform back into an NHS Nightingale hospital. While proud to play a role in supporting the NHS, it is time for the Government to repay the favour by providing the events industry with a targeted support package. Harrogate is a great example of a destination that relies on events for its local economy and for job creation.
