Event agencies and venues in Manchester and Birmingham claim events are continuing on as planned despite increased rioting across both cities last night. In a statement, Visit Manchester reported it was business as usual for events throughout the area. Manchester was one of the hardest hit cities last night, where 113 people were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage during the riots.
