With nominations for the annual EN 30Under30 in full swing, EN can confirm further details of the event including the panel of judges, venue and date of the ceremony.
The ceremony for the winners will be taking place from 6pm on Wednesday 4 November at All Star Lanes in Holborn, London.
The EN 30Under30 is produced to recognise young talent working for exhibition organisers who will go onto become the leaders of tomorrow.
You can nominate yourself or others by filling out the form here. Nominations must be received by 23rd September.
Duncan Siegle, Portfolio Director of Exhibition News, said: “The EN 30Under30 has gained real traction over the years and become a fixture of the exhibition industry calendar. We are extremely grateful to this year’s judges, who I’m sure will have their work cut out selecting this year’s 30. For the sake of clarity, judges will not be able to judge employees from their own organisation.
“We can also now announce the date and venue for this year’s event. We will be gathering the winners plus guests at All Star Lanes, Holborn, from 6pm on Wednesday 4 November. As always, I’d also like to thank the sponsors of this event – Olympia London, Visit by GES and LiveBuzz.”
Justin Craig, Joint Managing Director of LiveBuzz, stated: “The challenges created by the Covid pandemic call on a new generation of leaders who are adaptable and resilient, who find solutions when there seems to be no answers. Leaders who are passionate and positive during the worst of times. We celebrate the brightest and the best of our industry – it is their energy, courage and vision that will help our incredible sector bounce back and thrive in the new normal.”
The list of 2020 judges is as follows:
Chris Skeith – CEO, AEO
Stephanie Rogers – HR Director, Reed Exhibitions
Andrew Harrison – Director, ESSA
Thomas Humphris – HR Director, Informa Markets
Mike Sealy – Customer Relations Director, Informa Markets
Tom Fisher – Senior Marketing Manager, Clarion
Julie Driscoll – Regional Director, Hyve Group
Orson Francescone – Managing Director, FT Live
Tom Fisher, part of the first batch of EN 30Under30 winners and a judge for this year’s event, commented: “This initiative was something that truly helped me on my way with my career and now I have the privilege to judge. If you know someone working for an exhibition organising company under the age of 30 that has shone in these ‘interesting’ times, nominate them now. You can of course nominate yourself if you know you’re just that damn good.”
