The Installer Show, the annual heating and plumbing industry trade exhibition, has announced the launch of Installer Scotland in Glasgow.

There are over 10,000 heating and plumbing engineers working in Scotland  – until now without any kind of trade show dedicated to them. Installer Scotland has been launched to cater for this market.

Show manager Paul Clark said: “We’ve had three great years so far at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, and we are really looking forward to Installer2018 in the same venue next year. It was time to bring the show to the Scottish market.”

“Installer Scotland fills this gap, and will retain all of the ‘hands-on’ opportunities and special features that have made the Installer show in Coventry so great while at the same time specifically addressing the business objectives of our Scottish industry colleagues,” the organiser said.

The organiser, Installer magazine, launched their first heating and plumbing industry trade exhibition in 2015 and it’s since grown year on year. The show provides a platform for industry professionals to benefit from face-to-face time with manufacturers, merchants and suppliers from across the industry.

Installer Scotland is a two-day event and will open on 6 September at the SEC.

Clark continued: “Glasgow is a fantastic location to launch a show as it’s very central for a significant proportion of the Scottish population and the SEC has all the facilities and capabilities required to run your show here for the first time. We’ve received a lot of support from the team at the venue to get the event off the ground and look forward to coming back in the future.”

Angela Smith, business development manager at the SEC, commented: “Glasgow is a fantastic place to launch a trade show because the local audience is just so diverse. You’ll find interest in every kind of show here and it’s something we take great pride in.”
