FLOODEX returns to East of England Arena

by Olivia Powell

FLOODEX, the trade event for the flood defence, drainage and water level management, is returning to the East of England Arena and Events Centre.

Highlights from this year’s event include a visit from HRH Duke of Gloucester, Future Water Association’s ‘Water Dragons’ competition and CPD accredited seminars run in partnership with the Association of Drainage Authorities (ADA) and Association of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) Authorities.

Event director for the show’s organiser, Indigo Media & Events (IME), Jon Irwin, said: “FLOODEX is a great way for people from the construction fraternity to attend CPD accredited seminars and talk to experts about solutions and products on the exhibition stands,” adding, “flooding events are only going to get worse and could affect many aspects of planning, development and construction.”

Venue director at East of England Arena and Events Centre, Jason Lunn, said: “FLOODEX is the foremost event dedicated to flood defence and drainage, and it’s a pleasure to welcome it back to the venue.”
