Flume Sales Training has launched a new initiative to help those made redundant get back into work.
As Covid-19 continues to impact heavily on the events industry, the resultant uncertainty means that it is likely more jobs at risk, with the Hotel Booking Agents Association (HBAA) revealing on 25 June that 30% of employees working in business events, accommodation and meetings agencies are at risk of redundancy from July 2020.
Fast-track back to sales by Flume Sales Training aims to provide support for newly redundant sales professionals at all levels of experience and seniority, who are about to re-join the job market at what is likely to be a challenging time.
Mash Media’s editorial director Martin Fullard spoke to Flume’s director, Richard Myles, to learn more about what is on offer.
Myles said: “This free-to-attend virtual programme will consist of five workshops designed to help sales professionals re-joining the market to get into the right frame of mind, build their personal brand, equip them with up-to-date sales and digital skills and help them nail their interviews.”
Myles added “We already have support from numerous guest speakers who will be sharing their knowledge and expertise to help support this initiative.”
