Among the events being held at ExCeL London this week is the London Muslim Shopping Festival, which is expected to attract some 20,000 people attendees from 26-27 March.
Back for its sixth year after a two-year hiatus, the festival, which launched with around 5,000 attendees, is expected to host more than 250 stalls and exhibitors from 16 different countries this weekend. It will be co-located with Modanisa London Fashion Week.
As well as shopping opportunities, the event will also host a cookery theatre, seminars, a kids zone and a food court in association with London Halal Food Festival.
Before this, the venue will host Bett 2022 (23-25 March), an education technology show that was pushed back from its original date in January. It will see education secretary Nadhim Zahawi open the show with a keynote address, while Strictly Come Dancing judge Darcey Bussell will host a session on how to use dance fitness to improve student and teacher’s wellbeing.
Also taking place at the venue this week is London Bridal Week (21-23), Hotel, Restaurant and Catering (21-23), The London Produce Show and Conference (21-23) and BDIA Dental Showcase (25-26).
