ExCeL London hosts its last show of the year today (16 December), as the London International Horse Show celebrates its 50th anniversary.
The four-day show, which takes place at the venue for the first time, is set to be a sell-out event and marks exactly two years since the last edition was held.
The show’s move to the ExCeL from Olympia London has allowed for a 20% increase in overall seating with all seats providing more leg room due to the increased arena space. There is also more space for the horses and riders to warm up in before heading to the Main Arena.
The show will feature equestrian displays, the Shetland Pony Grand National and the Christmas Finale, as well as action from across the disciplines, including the FEI World Cup Dressage competitions.
It will also include a Christmas market featuring more than 250 stores, as well as dressage and show jumping stars such as Olympic champions Ben Maher MBE and Charlotte Dujardin CBE.
