The Global Conference Network is to host a marketing summit dedicated to content publishers, conference, exhibition and awards organisers and associations on 3 October.
Taking place at the Mermaid Conference and Events Centre in London, the inaugural event will provide a platform to discuss the opportunities and challenges in event marketing including leading strategies and digital innovations in building event brands and communities.
Keynote speakers include Mina Booth, head of marketing at Fresh Montgomery; David Langrish, global head of brand marketing at i2i Events and Georgie Sloggett, marketing manager at UBM.
“We are really looking forward to the Event Marketing Summit and to showcasing best practices as well as seeing one of London’s best dedicated event spaces in action,” said Claire Wormsley, director of the Global Conference Network.
“The Mermaid has been a delight to work with as the team is fully engaged and conversant with this multimillion market that we champion.”
Alicia Duncan, general manager of The Mermaid said: “This is a key market for us and we are delighted to be partnering with the Global Conference Network on this forward thinking and highly relevant summit.
“Claire and her team know the best content to attract delegates and with this audience this is going to be an absolute hybrid of best practices in what is relevant to the various industry sectors who organise and run content led events.”
The organiser has confirmed that senior marketing leaders and strategists from UBM, i2i Events, Terrapinn and Informa have already registered for this year’s inaugural event.
