After a 12 year wait, journey times to ExCeL will be slashed with the opening of the new Crossrail Elizabeth Line.
The Elizabeth line, which will reduce travel time to ExCeL by up to two thirds, was set to open on 24 May.
The new line will stops Custom House station, which is next to the East London venue’s main entrance.
With the Royal Docks venue now having its own dedicated Elizabeth line station, in addition to two existing DLR stops, ExCeL CEO Jeremy Rees says it will cut journey times by up to two thirds, with the resulting time saved leading to a significant increase in networking and commercial trade from delegates.
