The EN Awards will take place on 2 July from 6pm at Evolution London.
With national restrictions scheduled to end 21 June and the continued success of the vaccination programme providing the events industry with the most confidence it has seen in 15 months, the EN Awards team is confident the event will give the industry the social release it needs.
The event will take place at Evolution London in Battersea and all tickets already purchased remain valid.
Following consultation with the venue, the team has agreed to run the event after the lifting of the last set of restrictions, to allow the exhibition industry to come together and celebrate the return of live events in 2021.
Duncan Siegle, awards director, said the EN Awards is all about celebrating excellence and that the end of the turmoil was finally in sight. “We know that the industry wants to come back with a bang, so we will be going all-out on making these awards the best yet,” he said. “Most of us haven’t seen each other for over a year now, so when we are able to get together, there is no doubt we won’t be taking it for granted. Thank you to the industry for your patience, it will be worth it.”
The shortlist for the EN Awards was revealed in December. You can view the finalists here.
Siegle praised the venue and partners for their support. He said: “The team at Evolution London has been fantastic. It has been a real partnership between us to mitigate the delay. Event Guides and Visions have also put in a lot of time and effort, and I’m in no doubt the collaboration will result in an event to remember. “
“With International Confex and the CN Agency Awards also taking place after 21 June we are looking forward to a fortnight of celebrating everything that our amazing industry achieves, and the wait will make it all the more worthwhile.”
Full information on the event schedule will be announced shortly.
