Conrad London St James are to partner with Britain for Events to host two dinners for MPs and representatives from the UK events industry.
Last year the hotel hosted a dinner during National Events Month October (#NEMO), that saw representatives from UKTI and DCMS discuss the events industry with some of its most high profile personalities. Through the success of the dinner the Britain for Events campaign has committed to running two more forums this year, one of which will fall during October.
Speaking about the partnership, Alistair Turner, campaign director for Britain for Events said: “Last year’s dinner was expertly hosted by the team at Conrad London St James, and we were keen to work with the hotel again for our events this year.
“These are great forums for government officials, civil servants and MP’s to spend time with senior representatives of the events industry in an informal setting.”
Nicholas Chalmers, general manager of Conrad London St James added: “As a hotel we host a great deal of dinners for our government clients, and its good to be involved in an event that so directly benefits the industry we work in.
“We’re looking forward to hosting our industry colleagues and showing those outside of the industry how great UK hospitality is.”
