The UK Chemical Industries Supply Chain Expo & Open Conference (CHEMUK), organised by UK Industry Events, welcomed 2,133 visitors to the Yorkshire Event Centre on 1-2 May 2019.
Event founder, Ian Stone, MD of UK Industry Events commented: “We’ve been delighted with the incredibly enthusiastic reception to the CHEMUK event, validating the concept of bringing the industrial chemicals, and related chemical user & formulation industries together ‘annually’, with the further addition of key sector-supporting groups, to create a unique industry setting with a very special dynamic.”
The show featured over 170 exhibitors showcasing latest plant, equipment, supply chain materials & services supporting the chemicals industries, driving operational performance, efficiency, future-proofing, safety, compliance, supply-chain fulfilment and more.
In addition a free to attend content programme saw more than 70 speakers discussing the challenges and opportunities facing the UK’s chemical industries. The event saw Royal Society of Chemistry hosting its two-day RSC Skills & Careers Clinic, providing visitors with access to products and services to enhance their professional development or receive a personal consultation with an RSC Careers Management Specialist.
To cater for the high demand for floor space and expanded conference programme, the 2020 edition of the event will be taking place at EventCity in Manchester where organisers expect to have around 250 exhibitors.
CHEMUK 2020 will take place on 13-14 May at EventCity.
