The Business Visits & Events Partnership (BVEP) has written to the new health secretary, Sajid Javid, to ask for his collaboration in rebuilding the events industry. The letter comes the day after prime minister Boris Johnson announced that a final decision on activating Step 4 on 19 July would be made on 12 July.
