THAILAND – The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) says the latest bout of anti-government rallies in the Thai capital will cost Thailand’s event industry close to 800m baht (US$21m).
TCEB president Akapol Sorasuchart says that the protests at the Ratchaprasong intersection in Bangkok affect an area which has 10 hotels with international business tourists.
