Tottenham Hotspur has announced a joint bid with American sports and entertainment company AEG to take over the London Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Games.
AEG, owner of the O2 arena, has confirmed the joint bid. If it is successful, Tottenham Hotspur may abandon plans to rebuild their current home ground, White Hart Lane.
