VegfestUK London returns to Olympia in Autumn after three year hiatus

VegfestUK London will return to Olympia London in the Autumn of 2022 for a celebration of all things plant-based.

After an enforced absence of three years, the longest-running indoor vegan exhibition will take place from 12-13 November, coinciding with COP27.

“Interest is high – and so is confidence. Currently we are receiving lots of enquiries from potential exhibitors,” said organisers VegfestUK, which also runs online event series Global Vegfest.

“In addition to growing desire for live events and a hunger and appetite to return amongst exhibitors generally – we’ve also witnessed a phenomenal increase in plant-based options in the last few years and with plenty of new vegan businesses eager to exhibit, many for the first time at a major venue like Olympia London. Equally high for many on the agenda is sustainability.”

Olympia London, which committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 and reaching net zero by 2050 at the latest, is an ideal choice of venue due to its sustainability credentials, said VegfestUK.

The venue was one of the founders and the first to achieve certification to the event sustainability management system international standard, ISO 20121.

Having been exhibiting at Olympia London for nine years, VegfestUK has grown in the venue from Olympia West halls to Olympia Grand.

“Olympia London has made big strides forward in the decade we’ve been exhibiting”, added the VegfestUK’s organisers, “The introduction of plant-based options everywhere on site, coupled with a robust commitment to sustainability is an essential part of the continued success of our own event. Olympia London is leading the way and other events venues are following.’’
