Taste of the Vine held a cheese-making and wine-tasting event in Vintners Hall, London on 30 May.
The event pitted a selection of eventprofs against each other in a challenge to identify a series of sparkling wines by Greyfriars, while making their own cheese in groups.
Taste of the Vine’s Francis Gimblett hosted the evening, and guided us through the cheese making and wine tasting processes. He founded Taste of the Vine alongside his wife Pam in 1997, and they have been offering tasting events ever since.
EN was in attendance, but did considerably better in the wine tasting than the cheese making, we must admit…
Our consolation prize was the chance to have a look around the impressive Vintners Hall, which has a rich history in the wine trade dating back to 1363.
