The Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) Show and the Total Processing and Packaging Exhibition will return to the sole ownership and management of the PPMA Group of trade associations from 2014.
The events will be organised by the PPMA Group and a newly extended in-house exhibition team from its headquarters in Wallington, Surrey. Reed Exhibitions has managed the event for the past 12 years.
The 2011 PPMA show at The NEC had 8,586 visitors (ABC audited). It was co-located with triennial British plastics show Interplas.
“This is a nice way to bring my four-year presidency to a close,” said Alan Yates, MD of Endoline Machinery and outgoing PPMA president. “I have enjoyed working with both the PPMA and Reed show teams, and look forward to continuing that support as PPMA finance director when the management of the PPMA show comes back in-house. This is a good decision for the PPMA, a good decision for Reed and most importantly of all, a good decision for the industry.”
