As part of plans to reposition Magaluf as an upmarket destination, Meliá Hotels International, a Spanish-owned chain with 350 properties worldwide has opened a congress centre in nearby Palma.
EW visited Mallorca, the island where both destinations are situated, to learn about the new investments.
Meliá Hotels International has opened a new convention centre at the new Palau de Congressos de Palma and its adjoining hotel, Meliá Palma Bay.
