Greenpeace have been confirmed as the latest exhibitor to appear at the National Running Show Birmingham.
The event, the biggest independent show of its kind, runs 25-26 January 2020 at the NEC, and expects more than 55,000 visitor registrations.
The National Running Show has historically worked with charities and 2020’s event will see Greenpeace expanding its message to runners to help protect the environment and promote peace.
Among the 250 exhibitors confirmed are Absolute 360, Active Root, Beet It Sport, Brighton Marathon Weekend, Guide Dogs, It’s a Bling Thing, The Buddy Pouch, Xtenec Laces, We Run Trail and The Running School.
The National Running Show Birmingham for 2020 is introducing ‘The Trail Zone’, which it says will “bring together the growing number of people wanting to run longer and discover new places”.
Another activity taking place at the event will be the Running School, which offers expertise through movement, rehabilitation and speed specialists, and aims to help runners achieve their goals.
Mike Seaman, CEO of Raccoon Events, says he is delighted with the caliber of exhibitors. He said: “From nutrition and hydration through to race organisers, charities, apparel and accessories, we are committed to providing an extensive choice in order to help runners make informed choices for the year ahead. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the NEC in January.”
