USA – Guests were evacuated the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Centre on Sunday night after excessive rainfall caused the nearby Cumberland River to overflow.
Flooding forced around 1,500 guests to move to a nearby high school. The venue, which claims to include the largest non-gaming hotel in the continental United States, said on its website on Monday that it is not accepting overnight reservations and has been closed indefinitely.
