Bristol Business Festival, an online event which aims to “celebrate the amazing talent and businesses in the Bristol Area; coaching to up-skill; share expertise; network and do business” will be taking place next week.
The festival will feature keynote speakers, masterclasses on sales; marketing; online events; operations and administration; and business resilience, business-focused talks on the Bristol economy and 10 discussion panels.
Enterprise Nation, a community of more than 75,000 small businesses that launched the AmazonUK Small Business Accelerator will also be participating in the event, with Emma Jones MBE, CEO of Enterprise Nation, giving the closing keynote of the first day. The AmazonUK Small Business Accelerator is an online educational programme for those who want to start an online business, or to grow an existing one.
Jones said: “2020 has been a turbulent time for small business. Enterprise Nation has launched the Amazon Small Business Accelerator to help people start, grow and turbo charge their businesses through online learning, bootcamp experiences, offers and more.”
AmazonAccelerator festival organiser, Franco de la Croix-Vaubois, added: “The solutions are out there and it is by coming together, sharing ideas, expertise and coming out of industry-siloed thinking that we will adapt and move forward. It is wonderful to see so many businesses get involved and just goes to show there is a real positivity, creativity and innovation out there, to help Bristol get back to business”.
The Bristol Business Festival will be taking place from 23-24 September. Tickets are free for students and those who have been furloughed or are unemployed. To register for the event, click here.
