European meetings industry tradeshow, EIBTM, has taken the wrappers off a new on-site TV news channel and web cast for its upcoming event.
EIBTM TV will broadcast from an on-site studio during the three-day event, which takes place in Barcelona from 30 November – 2 December. Content will include interviews with industry speakers, through to educational sessions and a news ticker service. The TV programme is expected to reach 140,000 industry professionals in Barcelona and will be shown on a series of screens around the show floor. Advertising will also be mixed in with the show content.
EIBTM TV will also be available on the website to allow visitors and exhibitors to access the content throughout the year. The TV service is being provided by The Fred Production Company.
EIBTM Event Director, Graeme Barnett, said its TV initiative demonstrated its commitment to marketing and information innovation while providing more value to participants during and after the tradeshow. EIBTM is run by Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) as part of its portfolio of global meetings industry events.
