EGX gaming show moves to London

by Nicola Macdonald

EGX, a consumer gaming event organised by Gamer Network, has confirmed a move from the NEC in Birmingham to ExCeL London.

David Lilley, event director for Gamer Network said: “We are thrilled to be bringing EGX home. Moving back to London means we can grow all elements of the show and add new content and features that we know our fans desire, making this an unmissable outing for gamers and the UK games industry.”

In recognition of the importance of the gaming community in Birmingham, Solihull and surrounding areas, Gamer Network, which is owned by ReedPOP, is working to provide gamers from the region who attended EGX in 2018 a transportation solution to and from London for EGX 2019. A time-limited discount for EGX 2019 tickets will also be offered to those fans when they go on sale as further thanks for their continued support in helping curate and deliver the event.
