Mark Shashoua, CEO of Mining Indaba owners ITE Group plc, ceremonially opened trading on the London Stock Exchange, 11 January.
The event, attended by partners including the World Gold Council, Memery Crystal, ICMM, The World Platinum Investment Council, Brunswick and Thor Exploration, celebrated the upcoming 25th edition of the largest mining investment event in the world.
