The UK has been ranked by Eventex as the second best destination in the world for meetings and events. It was second only to the USA, and tied with the Netherlands for second place in the Eventex Top 20 Destinations for Meeetings and Events Index. The results are based on a weighted score that takes into account the number of wins from each destination in the Global Event Industry Awards over the past two years. Others high placers were Austria, Italy, Poland and Belgium.
