The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show, which took place from 2-5 February at the SEC, Glasgow, reported a 28% increase in ticket sales compared to its last show in 2020.

After a three-year hiatus due to Covid-19, the event’s organisers QD Events recorded its fastest selling show to date and welcomed over 130 exhibitors, with 39 attending for the first time.

QD Events MD Greg Cherry said: “The popularity of staycations has been increasing since the pandemic which has had an extremely positive impact on the caravan and campervan industry.

“We were delighted with the turnout for the event this year – it’s been our most popular show to date in terms of ticket sales and it was brilliant to see how many new exhibitors joined us. By the time the event took place, one of our halls at next year’s show was already fully booked, so we expect to have a great range of new things on offer then too.”
