First Sight Media has renewed its ISO/IEC 27001 certification. The recertification was issued by the British Assessment Bureau.
The standard covers information security management and sets out how organisations protect sensitive data across their operations.
Managing director Rich Belcher said: “This recertification is fundamental to who we are. It proves our deep, ongoing commitment to protecting client data. In an industry built on trust, this isn’t just a badge; it’s our promise of security and reliability in every project we deliver.”
The standard requires firms to identify risks and apply controls to secure information. It covers areas such as data handling, storage, access and internal processes. The company says this gives event clients independent assurance that delegate data and confidential content are managed securely.
The recertification applies across First Sight Media’s virtual, hybrid and in-person event services. It confirms the company has met the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 framework.
