Festival of Media has partnered with Award Compass to launch an AI-powered awards entry tool.
The tool is called FOM AI Entry Navigator™, and it’s available for entrants to the Festival of Media Global Awards programme.
Festival of Media said the tool is the first of its kind in the awards sector. Its aim is to simplify how entries are written and categorised.
How the tool works
Entrants upload any form of document. This could be a post-campaign reports, a series of slides or any kind of write-up.
The tool then analyses the content against years of previous successful entries and winners. It produces a draft submission outline that is aligned to the Festival of Media entry form.
It will also recommend which award categories best fit the entrant. Each recommendation includes an explanation and links to previous winners for reference.
The information is provided in a single report, which can be shared internally or with clients.
Festival of Media believes that the tool could greatly alleviate early-stage entry planning.
The AI Concierge
The tool also includes a 24/7 AI Concierge.
Users can ask questions about eligibility, deadlines, categories, or judging criteria. Festival of Media said this is intended to support entrants in different time zones.
Jeremy King, CEO of Festival of Media, said the tool reflects a shift in how awards programmes support entrants.
“This is one of the most exciting initiatives Festival of Media has implemented in its 20-year history and we’re delighted to be launching the FOM AI Entry Navigator™ and embracing the power of AI to transform the awards submission process on a global scale,” he said.
“We are hoping this is the start of an exciting and successful partnership with Award Compass.”
Data and access
Festival of Media added the tool is built using enterprise-grade systems – all uploaded data is encrypted at source and stored securely.
The FOM AI Entry Navigator™ is available via the Festival of Media Global Awards homepage and categories pages.
