TranslateAble unveils language support for exhibitors
TranslateAble unveils language support for exhibitors6th August 2026 | published by Adrian Pragnell SHARE

TranslateAble, which describes itself as the only language agency dedicated to the events industry, has launched Multilingual Stand Staffing, a new service that embeds language professionals directly into exhibitor teams on the show floor.

The service is designed to remove language barriers between exhibitors and buyers, with professionals working alongside an exhibitor’s own stand team for the duration of a show, supporting meetings and walk-ups.

It was developed in response to growing demand from organisers welcoming increasingly international audiences, and TranslateAble notes it can benefit even domestic exhibitors at domestic shows, where a significant share of buyers may still be travelling from overseas.

Julia Danmeri, founder and CEO of TranslateAble, said: “Many organisers spend huge amounts of effort and budget attracting international exhibitors and visitors to a show… But if an exhibitor’s stand team can’t communicate with a buyer the moment they step onto the stand, that can be a missed opportunity.”

Already in use at major shows

The service has already been used by exhibitors at the International Food & Drink Exhibition (IFE) in March, and is now being offered across the 2026 IAAPA portfolio of events held in the USA, UK, Abu Dhabi and Japan. Organisers can introduce it to exhibitors through manuals, marketing toolkits and pre-show communications.

Danmeri added: “Exhibitions are such a fantastic platform for companies to build global connections and new business but a language barrier between exhibitors and buyers can get in the way of that. This service is designed to close that gap and create better meeting experiences on the stand.”
