Olympia Events has appointed Aztec Event Services as the official AV partner for its new International Convention Centre (ICC), due to open as part of the £1.3bn Olympia regeneration in London.

Aztec, acquired by Pixelhouse Group in 2025, will manage all permanently installed AV at the venue, including LED screens, sound systems and lighting. Its team will also support organisers with production and technical delivery across conferences, exhibitions and corporate events.

The move gives Olympia an in-house AV capability as it prepares to launch the ICC, positioning the venue to compete for large-scale events in the capital. Aztec already works across Olympia’s existing exhibitions, offering some continuity for organisers familiar with the site.

At the ICC, the company will operate as an extension of Olympia’s team. Organisers will be able to draw on Aztec’s inventory and technical expertise, alongside a built-in “plug and play” infrastructure designed to simplify setup and scaling across different event formats.

Alex Lewis, coo at Olympia Events, said: “This partnership gives our organisers confidence that the best AV technology and expertise are always within reach. Many of them will already be familiar with Aztec through their work across our exhibitions, so having them lead the technical delivery within our ICC is a strong endorsement for what we are building at Olympia Events.”

Aztec is already working with Olympia on the ICC fit-out ahead of its launch later this year. The AV setup includes a 9.6m LED wall in the main auditorium and modular systems designed to adapt to different room layouts and event sizes.

John Robson, managing director of Aztec Event Services, said: “We are thrilled to be the on-site AV partner for the brand-new ICC at Olympia, a venue that truly represents the future of events in London and beyond.”
