ASIA – Messe Frankfurt, the company behind German exhibition Light and Building, is to launch a new lighting trade show in India.
Light India, which will take place in New Delhi from 5 to 8 October 2012, will be organised by the company’s Indian subsidiary, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, in co-operation with the Electric Lamp and Component Manufacturers Association of India.
The organisers anticipate attracting more than 75,000 trade visitors, and 300 exhibitors covering a gross area of 16,000sqm.
The event will also feature a technical conference.
Messe Frankfurt’s next Light and Building show will run from 15 to 20 April 2012 at the Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre.
In June, Messe Frankfurt said the company will launch 22 new events worldwide in 2011 and 2012.
